*PAC POWER *
Thundering like a destructive storm, the Hit Man bombarded Pacman with a thousand punches. Pacman could only thwart the Hit Man's attacks with blind jabs, by continuously evading every move the British warrior made, and went head to head with the Briton with everything he got. Everybody held their breath as these two titans of boxing clashed, their punches booming across the arena with every hit on their bodies.
Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao is the Philippine's pride and now a living legend. Every time he releases his deadly punches, cars on the streets and main thoroughfares in the Philippines literally disappear. The crime rate goes down to almost zero as everybody joins hands to cheer for the Philippine warrior. If we could only make Manny fight everyday, then the Philippines would be the safest country in the world.
Truth is, Manny is not the only Filipino who became well known and highly respected in his craft. Two other boxers were quite famous during their times -- Gabriel “Flash” Elorde in the 60s, and Francisco “Pancho Villa” Guilledo in the roaring 20s. Efren “Bata” Reyes still dominates the billiards scene, while Paeng Nepumuceno is a six time World Bowling Champion. Lea Salonga is a Tony Award winning Broadway performer, while Filipino-American Batista is a professional wrestling superstar. And how can we forget funnyman Rob Schneider when he injects something distinctly Filipino in his movies? But what makes Manny Pacquiao unique is that no other Filipino great manages to lower crime rate and affect society the way Manny does. In fact, Time Magazine recently named him as one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
Offshoring Inc. although an American company employs and outsource Filipino professionals, share in what Manny believes in. Similar to what PACMAN is doing in the Boxing Arena, Offshoring is working hard to be a true champion in the BPO industry.
Filipino people really look up to him. And Manny is showing the traits of a true Filipino. Though he may be a big celebrity now with his dozens of homes, businesses, and properties paraded in the media; one still see a trace of humility in him. Though most boxers show how good they are by bragging about their skills, Manny’s actions speak louder than his words, showing the best way to brag is by knock out! Manny sends his opponents to the canvass face first and with lights punched out and still proceeds to tell the whole world that he just got lucky -- as though God was merely working through his golden fists. He addresses interviewers as “sir” or “ma'am” and checks on his opponents to see if they’re okay even as they lie wondering what just hit them. Manny Pacquiao embodies the true Filipino spirit of polite humility, respect and human decency
At Offshoring, our employees respect what the client wants. Our staff provides sound recommendations to improve results whenever necessary and in the process we don't just merely surprise them... we astound them - like Manny astounds fans and opponents alike from all over the world.
Adaptability is another Filipino trait that Manny exploits to the tilt. As the only Filipino and Asian boxer to hold five world titles in different categories, he is a quick learner with a lightning fast instinct to adjust. This is another Filipino trait that awes other nationalities; how Manny – like Filipinos – are able to move and counter the tides of change to emerge victorious.
With variety of clients across industries and from disperse global locations, our employees like Manny have learned to adapt to any client pretty well. We provide our employees with trainings fitted to their need. Consider Offshoring Inc. as Freddie Roach and our employees as Manny Pacquiao. Our employees have the willingness and patience to learn. They may not hold five world titles, but we make sure our employees have several skills at their disposal.
Yes, Manny is a friendly, accomodating man – maybe to a fault (seeing the many politicians surrounding him after every fight proves that). You can approach and talk to him anytime without the fear of losing a tooth or your ears being bitten. It's not healthy getting punched all the time, but being a true Filipino, pain for Manny is nothing compared to the joy he gives to his countrymen and the love they throw his way.
Our employees are naturally friendly and love to please their clients. All they need is a pat on the back and encouraging words to lift their spirit. Manny pleases his millions of fans by working hard to win the bout. So do our employees.
It’s no wonder a lot of people love Manny Pacquiao. Not only Filipinos, but other nations as well. It's hard not to like a Filipino. As the Arabian writer Abdullah Al-Maghlooth wrote in the last paragraph of his essay “Imagine A World Without a Filipino,” “We have to remember that we are very much dependent on the Filipinos around us. We could die a slow death if they chose to leave us.”
Well, imagine a world without a Manny Pacquiao. The Philippines and the world of boxing have become better because of him. And surely, that’s a notch in his championship belt worth more than all his titles combined.
That said, imagine, too, your business without Offshoring Inc. a name trusted by clients. As clients that have stayed with us since we started in the BPO industry can attest; we guarantee your business will become better by partnering with us. By having Offshoring Inc. in your corner, you’ll get champion talents and knockout service – a winning combination that’ll keep you on top.
*Facing The Big Crunch*
A string of unfamiliar family death cases is sweeping the globe in the recent events. This is a shocking and very alarming series of events.
In Orange County, California, a couple and their toddler were found dead inside an apartment. All three had gunshot wounds to the head. Police suspected the incident as a murder-suicide. In Maryland, two murder-suicide cases were filed recently. A father shot his wife and three children to death before killing himself. A few days later, a tax lawyer, William Parente, his wife, and their two daughters were found dead inside a hotel room.
There have been similar high-profile cases in recent months and they have been tied to the families' economic turmoil. It is both horrifying and sad to hear stories like these. There could be a few similar cases in the Philippines but the reason behind it is rarely financial in nature.
Filipinos, beside being matriarchal, are also family-oriented people. Everything we do is for our family. Hope also plays a big factor in Filipinos' lives. Because of this, Filipinos do everything
to survive in the belief that a light is always waiting at the end of the tunnel.
This so-called big crunch is being felt all over the world, and the blows are hitting big industries in the West quite hard. However, it could be argued that some Asian countries – like the Philippines - haven’t been affected extensively due to Asian traits of resourcefulness and a grassroots entrepreneurial spirit in the face of crisis. We believe that by combining Western business acumen and drive with Asian diligence and reliability, any company can ride out the financial storm.
In this time of economic difficulty, going back to basics is more likely by necessity, rather than by choice. So maybe it's time for you to start anew; re-think your strategies. After all, even multi-billion dollar business had to start small. Build your own business and grow your own empire. Offshoring Inc. is here to back you up and help secure your company’s future by supplying you with top quality employees you can afford. Together, we’ll face and overcome the demands that come our way. Here at Offshoring Inc. “crisis” is simply an opportunity that challenges us to innovate and make things better.
