Thundering like a destructive storm, the Hit Man bombarded Pacman with a thousand punches. Pacman could only thwart the Hit Man's attacks with blind jabs, by continuously evading every move the British warrior made, and went head to head with the Briton with everything he got. Everybody held their breath as these two titans of boxing clashed, their punches booming across the arena with every hit on their bodies.

Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao is the Philippine's pride and now a living legend. Every time he releases his deadly punches, cars on the streets and main thoroughfares in the Philippines literally disappear. The crime rate goes down to almost zero as everybody joins hands to cheer for the Philippine warrior. If we could only make Manny fight everyday, then the Philippines would be the safest country in the world.

Truth is, Manny is not the only Filipino who became well known and highly respected in his craft. Two other boxers were quite famous during their times -- Gabriel “Flash” Elorde in the 60s, and Francisco “Pancho Villa” Guilledo in the roaring 20s. Efren “Bata” Reyes still dominates the billiards scene, while Paeng Nepumuceno is a six time World Bowling Champion. Lea Salonga is a Tony Award winning Broadway performer, while Filipino-American Batista is a professional wrestling superstar. And how can we forget funnyman Rob Schneider when he injects something distinctly Filipino in his movies? But what makes Manny Pacquiao unique is that no other Filipino great manages to lower crime rate and affect society the way Manny does. In fact, Time Magazine recently named him as one of the 100 most influential people in the world.

Facing The Big Crunch

A string of unfamiliar family death cases is sweeping the globe in the recent events. This is a shocking and very alarming series of events.

In Orange County, California, a couple and their toddler were found dead inside an apartment. All three had gunshot wounds to the head. Police suspected the incident as a murder-suicide. In Maryland, two murder-suicide cases were filed recently. A father shot his wife and three children to death before killing himself. A few days later, a tax lawyer, William Parente, his wife, and their two daughters were found dead inside a hotel room.
